Starting a new business is intimidating at anytime. Having to deal with everything from deciding where to locate the business, to finding the appropriate facility, to how you are going to get the doors open on time within the budget.
Once we decided to open the SnapFitness center in Saline and found what we considered a great location, the next step was to get the space ready. We were already familiar with what it takes to act as general contractor after building our home, so to eliminate that stress, we decided to find a local builder that would be familiar with all the aspects of a build-out for a commercial space. After checking on several builders in Saline, we decided to go with Willis Building.
This turned out to be a great decision. Mike Stoianowski, the owner, was great. He promptly returned all phone calls, answered e-mails, and was very knowledgeable with all aspects of what we would need. They immediately went to work on getting the blueprints done and all the necessary permits.
The project started on time and proceeded according to our timeline with no issues. The Willis people, (Mike, Ryan and the crew), were on site when they said they would be and were extremely professional every step of the way. Whenever there was a question, it was thoroughly addressed and answered. There was nothing hidden from us, and no surprises regarding costs.
